By Rochelle Montano Ocampo

The teens’ edition of “The Voice of the Philippines” made a triumphant comeback over the weekend as its pilot ranked first among the most-watched programs across the country.

“The Voice Teens” registered a nationwide rating of 28.9% while its competing show, “Daddy’s Gurl,” trailed with only 15.7%, according to Kantar Media.

The show’s pilot has a new device – a ‘Power to Block’ button among the coaches, that allows coaches two opportunities to block a fellow coach from recruiting an artist.

Sarah Geronimo, of Team Sarah, a winner of 4 out of the 6 runs she was in, was expectedly the first to be blocked.

Alex Gonzaga and Luis Manzano return as hosts of the show.
