The Voice Kids Philippines is back for the 4th season with a new gimmick

By Mizael Tilos

After a successful The Voice Kids season 3 two years ago, The Voice Kids is returning for a 4th season with the three iconic coaches, Tony award-winning actress, Lea Salonga, Prince of Philippine Rock, Bamboo, and the Popstar Princess, Sarah Geronimo as the mentors of the new aspiring kids on the show.

The blind audition for the 4th season of The Voice Kids will start with a new twist – the Steal and the Power of the Coach to decide on how many kids they can get on their teams

Coaches are also shocked at the blind audition because of the voices that they’ve heard from the kids.

“Mas diverse nga yung mga… yung mga boses ng bata ngayun yung genre na kinakanta din nila, nung past season kasi mas maraming birit” Sarah said.

“it’s about the unpredictability na hindi namin alam kung ano mangyayare sa mga bata” Bamboo said.

“kids that are watching kind of know what we’re expecting,” Lea said.

Coaches are proud of how far their teens and kids have been with their careers, like Darren Espanto, Elha Nympha, Esang de Torres, and JK Labajo with his big hit song “Buwan”.

Bamboo said “I’m very proud and very surprised at what he did on “Buwan”.  Una, yun alam kong artist na siya, pero what he’s become as a singer as well, that shocked me when I first heard that song.”

“Yun naman po talaga goal ng show no, ahh… para matupad ang mga pangarap ng mga pumapasok po dito,” Sarah added.

The Voice Kids season 4 will start after the first season of Idol Philippines.
