The University of the Philippines (UP) College of Music congratulates our new UP Artists

By: Christine Marie Lim Magpile, LPT

Recently, sixteen of its faculty have been recognized as UP Artists from the UP Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs for their outstanding productivity in the creative arts or in art scholarship for national development. Looking at the history of the UP College of Music, it has produced outstanding musicians, world-class performers, and well-respected music scholars.

Congratulations to the 103rd Founding Anniversary of the UP College of Music! May the UP College of Music continue its thrust as a “community of thinking and creative performing artists and scholars transforming the world through ideas, sound, and movement.”
