For Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., “the Filipino is worth dying for.” Ninoy, together with Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, and Antonio Luna are Filipino heroes who showed a deep sense of nationalism. The last Monday of August is declared as National Heroes Day in our country.
