St. Martin Coop ties up with PUP for Journalism training

St. Martin Coop, one of the leading Credit Cooperatives based in Bulacan, in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Journalism Department, spearheaded a two-day seminar-workshop in Corporate Communication and Journalism Skills Training for its  official paper  ‘Sandiwa’ last April 5-6, 2019 at the Multi-purpose hall of St. Martin Church, Bocaue, Bulacan.

With a booming membership of around 53,000, St. Martin Coop boasts of its best practices in the Philippines and Asia with its efforts to keep its members well-informed and updated of its services.

PUP was represented by no less than the chairperson of the Journalism department, Prof. Hemmady Mora together with faculty practitioner, Prof. John Robert Bolledo, and student trainee, Xyle Gabriel Magdamit. Said trainors taught extensively on news, feature,  headline writing, news gathering and lay-outing.

The program culminated with the adage “Practice makes permanent,” with the Sandiwa team, led by its Editor-In-Chief Serafin Celestino,  having high hopes of improving  its services by providing more relevant and quality content through the new knowledge each participant acquired.
