Smash Pilipinas bagged gold in Sydney tourney

The Smash Pilipinas Badminton Team brought home a total of 3 medals at the 2019 Sydney International tourney held at the Sydney Olympic Park in Australia, September 18-22, 2019.

The badminton team was awarded 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals at the Sydney International 2019.

The gold medal was won by Peter Gabriel Magnaye and Thea Marie Pomar in the Mixed Doubles, while Alvin Morada and Peter Gabriel Magnaye were awarded the silver medal for the Men’s Doubles, and the bronze medal was given to Alyssa Ysabel Leonardo and Alvin Morada in Mixed Doubles.

The Philippines won the first and third place among 47 entries from 12 countries in the Mixed Doubles, while we obtained second place among 45 entries for 15 countries for the Men’s doubles.
