PUP partners with PPI for Journalism projects

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) key officials together with Mr. Ariel Cervantes Sebellino, Executive Director and Trustee of the Philippine Press Institute (PPI) formalized its partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). Signing was held last Feb.18 at the PPI Ofc in Intramuros.

PUP was represented by Dr. Anna Ruby Gapasin, Vice President for Research, Extension and Development, Dr. Divina Pasumbal, Dean of the College of Communication and Prof. Hemmady Mora, Chairperson of the Department of Journalism.

PPI and PUP plans to execute projects which would both benefit the academe and the industry.

These projects are geared towards the empowerment of students and practitioners in a safe and democratic media landscape  in the Philippines.
