PUP gets two Epson-DENR awards for EcoVision Short Film Competition

Two awards were received by students of the College of Communication of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines namely Best Cinematography for “Paso” and 2nd runner up for PSA Contest with title, “ Para sa Ikabobote ng Lahat” during Epson and DENR’s  first-ever EcoVision Short Film Competition Public Service Announcement (PSA) Edition, a project of Epson Philippines Corporation in partnership with the DENR-Environmental Management Bureau and GREENducation Philippines.

The 1st runner up prize went to Ateneo de Manila’s “Wake Up Call” PSA and the grand prize was given to Adamson University’s “#Can’t You See.” Cash prizes and Epson products were received by winning students for producing excellent videos in line with the theme “Green Solutions for Everyday Life at Home, School, or Office.”

Said contest which was launched last January was also conducted to raise public understanding of the environment and its conservation through informational or PSA videos.
