TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, March 4 (PIA) — At least 400 participants regionwide are expected to participate in the first-ever Cagayan Valley Business Convergence on March 7-8, 2019 in this city with the theme “Together Towards Tomorrow.”
According to Cloyd Velasco, Regional Governor of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) in Region 2, the two-day event aims to equip, inspire, and unite the participants to prepare for the economic progress of the region.
He said the bizcon will also highlight the region’s emerging opportunities in the different fields such as agriculture, business development and operation, entrepreneurial empowerment, maximizing technology in growing business, among others.
“Experts from the region’s leading organizations will be present during the event to learn and share how small businesses can start expansion through large-scale change,” Velasco said.
He said sessions will include the potential business opportunities in Region 2, ease of doing business, and government projects that would benefit the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMES.
He added that a forum on the impact of technology and social media on business will take place where the participants will hear from business organizations how social media could revolutionize the industry.
