GREEN DAY soon on Philippine shores

The American rock band, Green Day, will do a concert in Manila on March 14, 2020.  It will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The band was formed in 1986 by lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt. They were a trio for most of the band’s career with drummer, Tre Cool.

Hit songs of this trio include ‘Wake me Up When September Ends’, ‘Basketcase’, ‘American Idiot’, ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’ , ‘21 Guns’ and ‘When I Come Around’.

Green Day has sold more than 85 million records worldwide, winning 5 Grammy Awards – Best Alternative Album for ‘Dookie’, Best Rock Album ,twice, for ‘American Idiot’ and 21st Century Breakdown’ , Record of the Year for ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’, and Best Musical Show Album for ‘American Idiot: The Original Broadway Cast Recording’.

Their 13th studio album entitled “Father of All ******* will be released on February 7, 2020, on popular streaming platforms.
