FCF Corp. recognized for impressive mining practices

FCF Mining Corp. of Nueva Vizcaya was awarded Best Mining Forest Award by the Philippine Mine Safety and Environment Association (PMSEA) on the 65th Annual National Mine Safety held in Baguio City.

The PMSEA themed ’65 Years of Responsible Mining Together in Promoting and Advocating Responsible Mining’ holds mining events annually and consists of relevant activities such as Mining Exhibit, 4thNAMINA Congress, 6th Community Relations Officers Conference, Minerals Industry Symposium, and more.

According to the acting manager for operations of FCF, Ian Moller, their company acquired the award for their responsible mining that benefits both the people and the environment involved in their operations.

Moller also said that they received the same award in 2013 and was third in the category in 2017.

Their mother company, Metals Exploration, is a company known for their restoration and preservation of natural resources in their every operation.
