Diether Ocampo is now a Lieutenant Commander at PCGA

Diether Ocampo has been away from showbiz and came back as a Lieutenant Commander of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) a non-government organization that supports the Philippine Coast Guard.

The PCGA is tasked to protect and preserve life and property in the seas of the Philippines.

Ocampo being in PCGA came to light after a fan page from Facebook has posted pictures of him in uniform. The same pictures of him were also posted from the Facebook page of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary 116th Squadron which introduced him as a Lieutenant commander.

After his hiatus from show business, he has been participating in countless activities and events held by the PCGA.

The Lieutenant has posted a video on Facebook titled “Sea of Stories” in which featured his love and determination to pursue his path as a Seafarer.

“Paano nga ba maging isang marino? Mahirap ba o madali?

Kaya nagdesisyon ako na mas mabuti pa siguro na pasukin ko ang mundo ng seafarer,” he said proclaiming his determination to enter the world of a seafarer.

Determined to start a new life in PCGA, his fans continue to support him whichever path he takes; whether he is in front of a camera or protecting the seas.
