Baguio City to host another ‘Mentor Me on Wheels’ Thursday

By:  Liza Agoot

BAGUIO CITY — Best practices in doing business will be the highlight in the upcoming “Mentor Me” event of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) here on Thursday.

Freda Gawisan, DTI Baguio-Benguet provincial officer, on Wednesday said simultaneous activities will be held at SM Mall and Paragon Hotel, where business counseling from trained mentors will share best practices and do a one-on-one mentoring with local entrepreneurs and prospective businessmen.

“This is the second time that the ‘Mentor Me on Wheels’ will be in Baguio. This is a partnership which aims to assist small businessmen and those who want to start a business by successful and trained mentors sharing of their experiences in the industry,” Gawisan said.

The DTI and the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship-GoNegosyo are organizing the event to help thriving businesses.

Gawisan said the activity is free and urged new business owners to attend the event. (PNA)
